Maria Toledo and Luiz Bonfa are among Brazilian singers/composers/musicians that i have come to love over the years. There's something about Maria's voice that's really fascinating. Her simplicity and styles in singing are beyond words and yet very sophisticated. Luiz Bonfa's compositions are full of beauty, subtlety, Sadness, Happiness and Suadades. 'Braziliana' is one of a few albums that i've been listening to almost everyday for so many years. I never get tired of it. It's amazing how the music that's been here for over 50 years finds its way to capture our hearts till this day.
